Queer Web Design was founded by freelancers in 2018.
Website Developer
"I started QWD with the goal of working exclusively within and for my own community. I believed that staying within a queer ecosystem was not just possible, but a viable way to structure my life and work: connecting with other LGBTQ+ freelancers, and supporting organisations making a real change in the world, particularly on projects related to migration, sexual and emotional health, and carceral justice."

Project Manager
"I work on scoping new projects, maintaining great relationships with both clients and freelancers, as well as dabbling in social media marketing. Outside of work, I live a fabulous life in Budapest, being involved in the queer and rave scenes. Billy and I lived together for a couple of years while both in England, and we've formed an incredible friendship."

Graphic Designer
"I started working with Queer Web Design in 2024. I love working with such a beautiful group of people that are uplifting, creative and inspiring, just like our clients.
I am from Wales and since living in Leeds I have become involved on the committee and organisation at Serf Leeds as well as running club nights and film screenings. My design practice is heavily influenced by my MA research practice that looks into independent magazine and book publication, and underground aesthetics."- Designing for print publications/books

Graphic Designer
"I’m an enthusiastic middle-weight, multiple award-winning Graphic Designer / Digital Marketing Specialist with a keen eye for fine detail.
I explore graphic design as if it were a hobby. I love working in the creative process, playing around with concepts to deliver something that’s a reflection of both myself and the brief at hand!"
Freelancer
"We are always looking for new freelancers to collaborate with at Queer Web Design. Our roster of ongoing and upcoming projects is lively, and we enjoy working with new people. You can be based anywhere, but priority is given to members of the LGBTQ+ community. Please reach out with your portfolio if you'd like to work with us."
